Hardware Lock - ForeSight

hi sir , iam in the oposite site i am looking for the program .. i have the usb dongle but does not have the rpogram anymore and cant find it online .. do you happen to have the setup installation file for this ?

No, I had some old CDs about 12 years ago. I believe that the program is still available but you have to buy it from Spectra Precision. When I contacted them about a dongle repair/replacement they told me "TS", it was my problem.

I think you can download the program from the Spectra Precision website. Your dongle should work. I had the TDS version for years, and then upgraded to the latest one from the website, and my hardware lock worked just fine.

You can readily download the Spectra branded version, but that really isn't the issue. I know our local dealer carries the dongles, but if I'm not mistaken they are now asking about a grand for them. I think they ran 400 a decade ago before Spectra got their hands on it. I've tried getting someone on here to part with an unused one with no success.

Trimble had a program to replace damaged/non-functional USB keys. The process involves the following steps:
1. Your dealer requests an RMA from Trimble for a replacement lock
2. once the RMA is received, the dealer must send in the damaged/defective USB device
3. Trimble will replace the USB key with a new one at no charge beyond the hassle of jumping through the hoops. Usually takes two or three weeks to complete the process.
That said, I do not know if they will still do that for any of the ForeSight family of software titles.

In the event you have a hardware lock that should be functional but your computer does not seem to recognize it, the remedy for that is to download the drivers from the Sentiel SuperPro USB device from https://sentinel.gemalto.com/support-downloads/sentinel-drivers/

You need the one at the top of the page. It works with everything from Vista forward, including Windows 10

PLEASE NOTE; WHEN YOU INSTALL THIS DRIVER, YOU MUST NOT, REPEAT, NOT, HAVE ANY USB HARDWARE LOCKS IN ANY OF YOUR USB DRIVES BECAUSE IT MAY RENDER THEM INOPERATIVE.

Hello Pinost - did you manage to find the installation file to run the TDS Foresight program with your dongle??  If not I wonder if you would consider parting with the dongle as I have the program installed on an old laptop and would like to use it again but the dongle was lost!  

Hello Archaic1, i have a couple dongles from TDS if you are interested. i know that we used them for the foresight data transfer program, and i think we used them for foresight cogo as well.

I was considering throwing the lot on ebay, so i googled and your post came up. if you are still in need let me know.

I have The download saved on a flash drive. I also have the drivers that allows this software to run on windows 10. I have several of the old serial key dongles for this software as well as 1 USB key that I use personally from time to time.?ÿ

I have no idea what functions the old serial key versions are licence'd for..... I believe we used to licence them for everything but roads module.?ÿ I mainly run Trimble business center now days... Though there are still some cogo functions i am fond of on the old Foresight software. Hence I still use the key from time to time.?ÿ

I might be convinced to let go of the dongle with a little persuasion... email me.?ÿ

Does anyone have Terramodel locks for sale? Do you have any Foresight or Foresight DXM locks you'd be willing to part with? Thanks.
