I found out yesterday he is in the CCU unit at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. Phone: (270)444-2444.
Not sure what happened but let's send out our warm fuzzies to our buddy and hope he gets well soon and gets out of there! :'(
Sounds like Cardiac Care Unit. A number of years ago he had a cardio-episode at work and wound up out-patient on a "clean up the act and take your medicine" regime. Anybody been in touch with him lately?
I pray he's gonna make it.

In his days in Lawton I would have added something like: So many women, so little time. But, I think he was on his best behavior since meeting this sweet Kentucky gal.
I wish I had more time on my hands, he is only 5 hours drive away from me now.

He's about 1.5 from me. I've been meaning to go up and meet him for years, I've just never got around to it.
Back a couple of months ago, one of my mentors died. I visited him pretty regular, but hadn't been by in a few months. Take the time to visit your friends, they may be dead when you get around to it.

For sure, I'm concerned. Has anybody attempted to contact him in the hospital? Hospitals are notoriously tight-lipped (and should be) concerning casual phone calls. And the last person I visited in a care unit did not have a phone in the room.

I just called the CCU unit at Lourdes Hospital hospital. They said he was either discharged, or was never there.
I hope he's out.
