I'm going to be setting up a test site soon and installing a beta version of the upcoming forum software upgrade.
Anyone want to be invited to beta test?
If you elect to be a beta tester, you are taking on the responsibility of reporting any problems or issues that you experience on the test website. Of course, you could also provide positive feedback if you notice anything that you particularly like. This would help me gauge interest and how much attention I want to give those features.
All of this will help us work out the bugs before we apply it to this live website.
If you are interested in beta testing, please reply to this topic and I will add you once I get the site ready for access.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the interest. I haven't done it like this before and thought it might be nice to have a small group checking things before victimizing all 12,000 members. ???? ????ÿ
I have a test site setup and I've installed the beta, but it's pretty rough around the edges. I'm going to wait until the first round of fixes are released in beta2 before I open the gates. That shouldn't take too long though, I'm thinking maybe a week or so.
Plus, I decided to make the updated site run on PHP 8.0 -- if you keep up on these things, you'll know that PHP 8 has some big improvements to security and speed. With that installed on the test site, I can help achieve compatibility. In my initial tests, it seems that it's already 95% compatible.
The beta site will be accessible by invitation only. Once it's ready to test, I'll post here again plus you'll receive an invitation via email. ?????ÿ
