Who wants to beta test the upcoming forum upgrade?

Alright, kids. Getting close to sending out beta tester invitations. They will be in the form of emails from danglingnode.com -- I'll let you know via this thread right after they are sent, so you can watch for them (they may go to your spam or junk folder).

Should only be another day or so, perhaps this evening.

It said what Peter quoted.?ÿ But it let me try to log in, and my surveyorconnect user name and password, email and password, email and the code I was sent, all failed.

The link we received by mail has a "registration= disabled" part

Trying to register, add username and email, select "not a robot" and input invitation code. Registration does not complete and I get this error message.

Trying to register via "link", I get the error message stating that "user registration is currently not allowed". I haven't established a password at this point but it's asking for one.

Ok, I think you are seeing the default WordPress login/registration page. We need you on the forums registration page. I've setup an auto redirect for that but you can go directly to it here: https://danglingnode.com/signup/

I see my mail server has just blocked <[email protected]> as a presumed spambot
(I got a huge swarm of spam from that address yesterday)

There is no revised email. Any associated notifications would come from danglingnode.com, which is where the beta site is located.

The reason I mentioned checking spam folders and pointed out the domain name previously is for that very reason. New websites often have email notifications go to spam because the receiving servers see that it is new, so they are just being cautious.

The new Surveyor Connect format is idiot proof! I can't "get in" no matter what password I use. ?????ÿ
