I actually looked into them quite a bit. I'm really skeptical of internet purchases because there are many fake/fraudulent survey equipment websites hosted in the Asian region. Wu-Tech advertises pretty low prices on ebay and they have their own website wu-tech.com. It looks like the operate out of a warehouse in South Florida and have a good ebay rating, with their only negative being from a $4 screen protector that didn't fit...

I thought about it, but I think I'm going to stick with someone local who I know I can really on for support. I'm not sure if I could get any support from an internet/ebay sale ... but their prices do look good.

I bought three tripods off of them last week, they showed up within 4 days of ordering adn they gave me a great price. Nice tripods, fiberglass with lever and screws.. $99 a pop. The service was great, he called me to tell me when they were shipping.. and they showed up fast. I am very happy with them, A++ absolutely for Wu.

Wu appears to be legit but beware of Indonesian and Singapore and other Asian fake survey instrument websites. I have noticed quite a few of them the tell all is the fact that their prices are less than half of what normal prices are and there is no home address. Ask for serial numbers and a formal quote and they will go away.
