See http://best-engineering-colleges.com/civil-engineering/idaho

This link assumes you are interested in civil. Easy enough to navigate to other information about their programs.

It's not for me, but a friend's son is being offered a pretty good deal to go there for chemical engineering. He was curious about the school, and I figured there must be some Idaho surveyors on this board who might know of the school's reputation.

When I was going to school at the UofI, the engineering program was one of the sources of pride of the university. Even though that was 10+ years ago, I can't imagine that changing too much. While I graduated as a Geography and Cartography student (in the College of Mines), many classes I took with the engineering students left a good impression, and a short time working with the civil engineering department an a GIS Analyst was a good experience.

Good school, beautiful area of the world to be in...and of course the debauchery that comes from being cold and drunk...Go Vandals!
