Looks Like there is an informal Javad Party forming....

Shawn Billings apparently will be there both days.

Anybody want to "see the beast"?

I'll be leaving the office in Memphis just after lunch. I plan on getting there in time for tonight's dinner and hanging out with some friends, and meeting some more in person.

I'll be in Dave Doyle's classes tomorrow. Looking forward to it!

DDSM and base9...

Shawn and 'sniper' Scrapper (Carlos Hathcock)

Shawn and Tennesee Jimmy...(note the wore out compass brought to 'trade')

Jimmy hung onto it...wouldn't trade for DDSM's Sipe Sumner Warren Knight Rider compass nor Shawn's 'toy' Kern theodolite.

'Beck'...another 'bad boy' from the corner of Tennesee playing 'trade maker...Jimmy ain't biting...

Shawn and Nate...beast mode

A few snapshots...

Not shown due to 'shyness'...
Smalltimer, CoreyF, a few Govt. employees, and a special thanks to Saline Co, Pulaski Co, Tennesee Jimmy and SMARTVENT for the cold brew.

Looks like PBR was the lubricant of choice (until sundown, I'm sure).

There were many brands...in copious quantities...I don't think anybody (by this time) was disappointed.

Remember we were at a 4H center and tried to be discreet...LOL

It was a great time. I got to meet several fellow beerleggers. Base9, DDSM, Shawn, Carlos Hathcock, Corey F, and a few more. I really enjoyed hanging out Thursday night. We talked well into the night. Beck isn't a poster, but he might be after the beerlegger. There were many war stories shared, and alot of really cool stories about how each of us worked ourselves up through the ranks.

Looking forward to the next one!

Beck strikes me as a man with wisdom and great passion for surveying. I hope that he will post. I'd like to hear what he has to say.
