Was just at an on-site with a nice Californian, he couldn't get over how cold it was.
It was cold, 11Am, 28 degrees, humid, windy.
He had on a light jacket, skinny jeans and bright yellow shoes of some kind. They flee here in the summer, buy a house, make it through a winter or two and disappear.
We had a nice young engineer from S. Cal., with wife in tow make the move here to take a job with our outfit. It was early spring time and his first day on the job a storm blew in and it dumped a foot of heavy wet snow. The following day he didn't show up for work. Apparently his wife dragged him back to California the very next day.?ÿ
Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get me.
@hi-staker. I haven??t delved into this place much. I ate at the Waterhole last night. Might tonight too. Deciding if I??ll get a room here or head west and see how it goes...
I haven't been into Stanford since 2010 or so. I doubt much has changed. Nowadays I normally boogie in through to Lewistown or Belt, depending on where we're working.?ÿ
