I find projecting linework (KML) from my TBC files into Google Earth Pro one of the most valuable analysis tools.?ÿ Real helpful to see what may or may not fit the occupation and whether any new lines are what a client wants.?ÿ Helps to figure out what you need to locate for searching for corners.?ÿ I'm doing it constantly, super easy using TBC.

That can also be done with StarNet and with C3d as well. I agree, a great tool to have.?ÿ

Mostly Trimble nowadays. Use to run SurveyPro and still have TDS SurveyPro on a Ranger to run my personal gear. TSC3 running Access, S6 robot, R8-3s configured as bases with R10 rovers. TBC for post processing, Map3D for?ÿworking with orthophotos and generic CAD stuff.?ÿI'll probably catch some grief for this but still drafting mostly using TDS Foresight. Works just fine for the kind of?ÿutility type work I'm doing and with 20+ years of .job/.pro files, can't really afford to let it go. Would love to find a spare dongle for it if anybody out there is sitting on one.

The?ÿ.kml files are handy at times but I have much better quality imagery than GE?ÿI can sync up effortlessly with my line work in Map3D.

Cameron. I just wanted to stick my nose in here and ask what you're experience has been with the L5 signal on the network. Is the signal present enough to see noticeable results, and if so could you mention some of the benefits ?

Honestly R.J. I've only had it turned on and in use for about a week.?ÿ My?ÿGS15's are just old enough the L5 option wasn't included in the performance package.?ÿ ?ÿI would like to fiddle with them more before offering an opinion.

Pointcab at www.pointcab-software.com
It is German software but available in English. Works very well with faro scans, very easy to learn and constant updates and additions if you're on subscription
Luposcan is also German www.lupos3d.de/software
It has more advanced options

Have tried using the trial for Pointcab and struggle abit with Facade Elevation Drawing (Could be not sure of how to slice correctly). How is lupos ease of use and such? What do you mean by more advanced options? Sorry newbie of scanning here and laserscanningforum does not talk much about this 2 software.?ÿ

I use Autocad for extracting plans, elevations etc. from scans. It works quite well. There are a couple of posts on Laserscanning forum showing how to do facades from scans in Autocad.
