Are you planning on using a conventional instrument to tie in each point as a check?

Thank you Dan.
I'm not able to be there, but I'm glad you are there.
Take lots of pictures.
Document the story.
Maybe I'll be up for something like this again, next year.
The users of these goods should be in charge of comparing products, and performance.

I considered going to meet some of you, but it's an 8-hour trip and I have two funerals to attend this weekend. :(:sob:

I liked the proposal when it was just the two initial Surveyors meeting in the woods. Nate the Surveyor and StL Surveyor. When the others interested and auxiliaries became involved, somehow it's appeal was lost.

I was considering coming to, but had other obligations. I was wanting to meet everyone and am looking forward to the results. I do own an LS and think it is amazing.

Well...It's a done deal. Things went very well and had a blast! We have data to process, compare and a "formal" report to conjure up. Stay tuned....

Radar,
Nate had a relapse of Tick borne sickness, and had to cancel. He was missed, but he may be planning the next shootout...summer season and leaves on

The Arkansas Park Rangers put on a Dutch oven seminar this afternoon...Day Two of the 'SHOOTOUT'...some of the fellows were complaining about 'stinkin' chili' and a dry county...ask them about brewing coffee...more to the expedidition than RTK...

It was a great time. Camping out and swapping lies around a fire. I really enjoyed meeting @StLSurveyor and Mike Goforth. Always fun reminiscing with @John Evers. And no one tells a story like DDSM.

We pushed the receivers pretty hard. Looking forward to reviewing and sharing results. No doubt this is only a start. Perhaps more gatherings like this should occur around the country. It wasn't unlike OGUG in Oregon where users learn from each other how to get more from their GNSS equipment.

Off subject advice...
Always put water in the coffee pot before you put it on the fire.
If you fail at that task...do not set said coffee pot on a plastic coated picnic table.
If you fail at all of the above, you will really have to improvise to get your much needed coffee.
