Good morning from Canada
I was using before windows mobile device Centre for downloading data from tsc 3
But know it??s not working is there any other software to download data to computer
Any suggestions will appreciate
Plenty of options.
some possibilities...
use a USB stick to copy between TSC3 and computer
use bluetooth to connect to your computer and copy the data
use WiFi to connect to your network and copy the data to your computer
or use Trimble Sync Manager to move jobs and job files to and from the cloud
?ÿ
What are you hoping to achieve?

TSC3 used windows mobile and active sync to connect to windows computer platforms. As windows on the computers evolved windows mobile became troublesome. I ended up using a thumb drive most of the time so that is an alternative. It??s not the best but it works in a pinch.?ÿ
If it will take a standard "geek whistle" (ie. flash thumb drive), that has always been one of the easiest solutions no matter the data collector IMO.

The new ones allow you to email/upload to the cloud (which is nicer), but the USB method is tried and true.
Nomee, you state that windows mobile device Centre (WMDC) isn't working. What changed??ÿ
While I agree that USB is a tried and tested method and works well in the field when you need to exchange data with a colleague, I still think you can't beat plugging your controller into your laptop and synchronising with a folder on your laptop. I used to use Trimbles Office Synchroniser with my TSC3 and was great as I didn't need to remember what job I had been working in since the last pairing, just plug in, OS fired up and all the data in one folder. If I had data to move to my controller, it works just as well in reverse; put the data in my transfer folder and it is uploaded to Controller at next sync. It also acts as a handy backup tool, as long as you also backup your laptop regularly. I was using WMDC (and Active Sync prior to circa 2018 when WMDC took over)and Office Synchroniser until earlier this year when I upgraded to TSC5. As the TSC5 has a usb C connector, I started data transfer by plugging direct into my laptop, which also has usb C. While this transfer method is quick (especially with photos and scan data and I get a power top up all in one) I did miss the synchronisation of Office Synchroniser. I only realised last week that Office Synchroniser still works, I just don't need WMDC interface anymore.?ÿ
Anyway, I'm getting off topic but stated my above opinon as I do believe that there is a better workflow than just relying on USB memory sticks. I haven't used Trimbles cloud based synchro service (Trimble Connect?) but I could also see some advantages to this method, especially if you work as part of a larger team.?ÿ
As a side note, if you can upgrade to a TSC5, you really will love the improvements.?ÿ
I've recently upgraded my OS to Windows 11 and the first thing?ÿ I tried was to connect my DC using Windows Mobile Device Center. Nothing changed from Windows 10 to 11. It still works as before using Bluetooth,?ÿ or USB cable.
Requires some tweeking of the registry but have had luck getting it to work in Windows 10. Same tweek might work in 11, worth a try.
