Thanks, I tried it out. It'll work in a pinch, like when the Schonstedt gets left in the other truck.

They put super accurate tilt sensors and a compass in the R10. To show you when the rod is not level and auto storing points. Well how hard would it be since we know the hight of the rod, tilt and direction of the tilt of the rod why not let me shoot a point without being level and calculate the real postion. Such as shooting a building corner, or a property corner in a rosebush. I could pull a storm drain grate and stick the rod down into the invert on whatever crazy angle and it would be stored In the correct location.
Just a thought haha

Why not design a prism pole, that has bluetooth, and does it's own rod height? There are 36 ways to do that... Laser inside the pole, fiber tape inside the pole, with a spring winder.

One of our rodmen wants to put http://www.zoro.com/ramset-powder-actuated-gun-trigger-22-caliber-mastershot/i/G1904506/?utm_source=google_shopping&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Google_Shopping_Feed&gclid=Cj0KEQjwsb-vBRCLj7TvqpGx_MoBEiQALgFGnvbON4KtZjxwFfTvU_mqtdt2Nv8exB8ML8iAL1U0ffYaAh5Q8P8HAQ&apos ;">something like this at the bottom of his prism rod. That way, when staking points on concrete, he can simply bend down and squeeze the trigger after getting on the point. o.O

A TS/GPS that can get it own HI.

A prism target design that won't catch branches as you walk through the woods.

About 15 years ago there was a product exactly like your rodman wants. The boss saw it at a show and ask if we wanted it. I was worried that the vibration would knock the bubble out of adjustment. Might have been made by Chris-Nik but I can't find it now.

How about putting a device tracker in our GPS units so we can know where they are when they're stolen. Or somebody needs to make some aftermarket device to accomplish this inside the casing of the unit so it cannot be removed.

A metal detector that has something akin to a radar screen to look at that shows all signals within a specific radius at the same time. You point it at your calculated location. Bam, you know if anything is within say five feet of that location at the first pull of the trigger. Perhaps three images come up. One appears to be the top view of a bar or pipe, one appears to be a pipeline and one is shaped like a tire iron. Now you know where to dig.

I want the JAVAD LS to be bluetooth linked to a TDS RANGER. So that the Coordinates generated in the LS are ACCESSIBLE, to the RANGER, to do cogo, and to run a robot, and so that you can stake the coords generated in the RANGER, with the LS. So, that we learn the LS, and can continue using the ranger, because we already know how to do that.

I want an omnidirectional EDM, mounted on the pole, below the GPS, to shoot a distance.

I asked our local dealer to find a device that shocks the user (with escalating intensity of course) when they run RTK under canopy or in other multipath environments. I must have had my poker face on that day because he panicked and started talking about lawsuits.

I would like robust online learning resources set out in a class like format with videos, text, sample data sets, emulators etc. along with available online chat and webinars to make the most of the tools already developed,
