Has anyone ever added an external WIFI sd card to a Ranger?
I have one and have bought a SPECTEC SDIO WLAN Card but it doesn't seem to recognize it.

That's difficult.

I went through that process with a Recon. The real problem is drivers. Nobody writes them for windows mobile 5, 6, or Pocket PC anymore.

Actually most companies never did.

Depending on the operating system and firmware it might be cheaper and easier to ask your dealer, who can move it up the tech support chain.

That's what I tried with the recon, only to discover it was too old to be upgraded and drivers couldn't be found for any cards I could find.

Thanks, the manufacturer claims they have the driver, but?

It never really works right. Most of the ranger x's actually have Wi-Fi built in there is just a fee to upgrade it and unlock the option.
