I do not have a CAD file but have seen some nice 3d models in Sketchup.
Seek them with Google "Sketchup 3dwarehouse"

Curious about this, I went to the site and downloaded a model of a Trimble S6 on a tripod in Collada (DAE) format, imported it to Bricsys and exported it to a DWG. Pretty slick! Here's a screenshot:

It's a full 3D DWG, and if anyone wants to download it, you can find it http://members.dcn.org/jhframe/Trimble%20S6.dwg&apos ;">here.

I have seen some very amazing models from SketchUp, but, most aren't that good. Basic shape modeling is fairly easy and lends itself to making 3D objects like a Garmin cursor and it is the way almost all of them are made. If you really want to do 3D parts modeling it is very very hard to beat a package designed just for that. Solidworks or something like it. These were designed and photographed in Inventor:
