Need a stamp seal for a particular state or perhaps someone else's?
Some of those are really cool. Makes mine look boring.
It looks like they are examples and that you would probably find the one for your state and order it through them. Can you just order one with someone else's name and number on it? I always heard paranoia about someone lifting the electronic seal or copying the actual seal of someone and reproducing it on their own plats and I thought: gee if you're going to do that why not just order your own stamp with their name and number on it.

I always liked the Wyoming stamp.
I kind of like Texas and New Hampshire's. NH for it's simplicity yet uniqueness. Texas's is kind of like a badge. Maybe like We're the best surveyor's out there ... like an ego thing.
I am particularly fond of the ones with my name on them

Never thought of it like a badge. Maybe I should start stamping my shirt right above the pocket before I leave out in the mornings.
Would it be illegal to have your stamp on your shirt? It might be a good marketing idea for someone to sell polo shirts with the stamp on the pocket.
Is Oregon the only one with a big blank space in the middle so the wet signature can actually be read?
If these are accurate for design of seals I really like Alaska, Maryland & Washington.

[SARCASM]Some state boards may consider that certifying something out of our expertise. [/SARCASM]

I feel for you, Florida's is totally blahhh....too. 😎
I learned something today. I didn't know that D.C. had its own jurisdiction.

I would think it absolutely necessary for a Texas Surveyor to have it on his shirt. In fact, I would make a tin badge of it if I were a proud Texan. Did you read your Board Rules in it's entirety? I suspect you are supposed to have it on your shirt @ all times.
George Collis out of McKinney, Tx used to use his seal as his business logo. I wasn't aware of any prohibitions on it.
NH stamp is a pain. I can never get mine perfectly square to the page or signature line - not as obvious with circular stamps. And the word, "signature", is right where I want to sign, through the word.
That and the design is like a kid drew it. Is it a 2 legged tripod? Is it a level? Why not a transit?
I am getting big time stamp envy. I think I will push the envelope a bit although we have the "substantially conform to" verbiage in our code.

I sent an email to Dave DeWeirdt. To say the least, he was not pleased about his information being used for advertising purposes.
The Washington stamp is obsolete.

huh...the name on the Oklahoma seal is bogus, I just assumed they all were.
I thought they might have used his because he might have ordered one from them recently but he replied that he hasn't ordered a stamp in over 20 years.
Bill Smith is a busy dude.
