We were at Marconi Beach, in Wellfleet, a few weeks ago, for a little project.?ÿ It was one of those "you guys don't really need me" jobs where the crew was more than adequate to layout the boardwalk with us, but the contract called for "stakeout."?ÿ ?ÿBy the time we arrived at the site the boardwalk was about 25% complete and the builders just needed grades to comply with ADA...
As I was setting up on the local control this caught my eye:
Next to this setup, on the back of a sign...
I haven't run the scan code, yet, because it wasn't relevant to my work.?ÿ ?ÿ ?ÿIt was a beautiful spot, and a beautiful day to work there.
?ÿ
Dtp?ÿ
I've often thought those would be great for surveying.?ÿ ?ÿ If the crew runs the code, it would give them all the info and prove they were at the right benchmark or control point.?ÿ ?ÿI wonder if the newer robots with cameras have built in code recognition???ÿ ?ÿ
Apparently it is a digital scavenger hunt game.?ÿ Sorry no datasheet info.?ÿ Would be cool to put that on a marker post though.
Would be cool to put that on a marker post though.
Today, we are only limited by our imagination...
