I doubt it.
However, never underestimate the stupidity of people in groups, including a jury.
Didn't Google Maps at least used to have a disclaimer of some sort along the lines "not to be used as gospel, to be used as general info"?
So there was a 7601 Cousteau, and a 7601 Calypso, and they were both at the intersection of the two roads, they were both damaged from the storm and both were abandoned?
I can see where this might happen, Google map errors or not.

If they didn't have such a disclaimer should it really matter?
Kinda like, "Don't cut your hair with your lawn mower, or even your neighbors lawn mower." I know, I live on fantasy island.

Well, no, it should not matter. But, with all sorts of warnings like "not to be used as a hair removal tool" type warnings having to be posted on lawn mowers instead of any sort of common sense prevailing, well.... makes me wonder how stupid the human race has to become before we forget to breath and just drop dead. Seems like we are most of the way there already.
Which is why I like to come to places like this to hear intelligent conversation.
Some weak claim that Google Maps took them to the wrong house doesn't hold water. The demo crew supervisor, or the whole crew for that matter, should have unglued their faces from their phones long enough to look at an actual street sign. Before Google Maps, I'm pretty sure you needed to look at street signs to know where you're at in the world. Technology is sometimes often responsible for a steep decline in common sense & intelligence.

Funny and scary all at the same time! Carlin certainly had some great material......

Actually: Individuals not being allowed to suffer the consequences of their poor decisions is responsible for a steep decline in common sense & intelligence. Technology is just another avenue by which to demonstrate stupidity.
