Nice looking displays Snoop. I wish I had a little more, but my office isn't laid out just right for book shelves and such.
Good looking stuff though.
Nice "stuff" Snoop. I have some old stuff spread around here too. A few years back I was bidding on a K&E Transit, the same model I have be taught on in college. About half way through the bidding I realized that the instrument would join the rest of my prized old equipment in my closet. Great equioment, all to be tossed by my kids when I die, too bad there is no heaven for old instruments, or maybe there is, in our closets.
T.W.
P.S. I just noticed the highway curves, neat, ask the new guys what they are for. LOL
Question
In the second photo, underneath the tripod on the right, is that the metal box for a Dietzgen 20 second transit? I ran one for a while about 40 years ago.
Nice collection you've got there.
Andy
highway curves?/railroad curves?!
I was just thinking of selling my old set...

It serves the same purpose as all surveying gear: chick magnet.
I must be doing something wrong. My survey equipment only attracts old farmers.:-O
That is a sweet collection snoopers, thanks for posting it, i am saving the photos for my collection. I know you have a signed book from Walt Robillard, that may be it on the bottom of the stack.
