Here's a selection of photos from this years field season. Not a whole lot of work this year but the few projects I was involved with were pretty interesting.

As always - nice pics! And once again, I'm envious of your "work".

Two glasses of wine later... I enjoyed looking through all the pictures and videos. I can only hope one day fate will allow me to partake.

Thanks for sharing your adventures and pics.

Well you must be the most well traveled surveyor in the world or at least the best documented.
Several years ago I stood in front of the clockworks in Prague that you show. I think I even have a picture of it somewhere.

Great job.

Thanks John ... I've been to Prague a number of times as my brother lives there and I am sure I have photographed that clock every time ...

Ketchikan, Temsco 500s & various Float-planes, those were the days...

Last time I was in Ketchikan (2004) the Cruise Ships had pretty much destroyed the town I remember from the 1980s & 90s.

Loyal

Oh Man...I was in Ketchikan one time there were 6 cruise ships in port at the same time.....15,000 people inundated the docks and wharfs where weird various tourist shops and tourist traps are all set up..... diamonds and beaver pelts, Ulu's and hotdogs ...all that crap....and within 6 hours 15,00 people gone .... instant ghost town ... IPA and a quesadilla..

Nice stuff. A few of your landscapes remind me of Bierstadt paintings in composition, light and hues.
And the hometown log is very nice too.

Mighty fine photos. How do you find the time to put this all together?

I checked on the Arctic Flight movie poster and it was a 1952 movie.
