I am doing a survey in the Purchse area of kentucky (bardwell to be exact)
this part of kentucky is sectionalized however i am finding it very difficult to find information on which section I am in. The deeds dont give the information. I cannot find maps that show the area (with sections) Some of the deed will call out a stone, section corner. But they will not give any other information. I would like to identify which section corner I have but am not having much luck.
Anyone here know where you can see a map of the sectionalized lands in this area????
BLM???
I am about to just give it up
If you have a Tax ID number maybe calling a Title Company can get you started.
Man, that's really a good one Buck! Best of luck

Sometimes that is the best choice.
USGS Quad maps usually show section lines and township & range info.
definitely the blm I am guessing.
Forget the BLM, back here in the east you probably have a better chance at the Secretary of State. http://sos.ky.gov/land/search/
Isn't there some kind of tax assessment mapping for the area? Does your client pay taxes? How does the taxing authority know what property your client owns?
maybe this will help
If not, drop me an e-mail and I might can connect you with someone to contact.
