The automatic update utility told me that 2.53 was available. I installed/updated it on my FC2000. Things look pretty good, but the functionality with my Topcon GPT-3005W Total Station seems to have been broken. It no longer automatically switches the Total Station from prism to reflector-less and back when the icon in the "Store" screen is clicked. It changes modes in the DC, but doesn't successfully switch for the Total Station (it appears to try).
Do you have any suggestions? Is this a known issue?

I have had similar problems many times with Carlson. I love SurvCE, but the percentage of things going wrong in an upgrade seem disproportionately high with them.
When we get a release that works well with all our equipment, we tend to stick with it for a while. This doesn't help you now...perhaps switching to an older release of SurvCE will do the trick.
I got an immediate response (not resolution yet) from their support. They do a good job with their support. The guy actually went out and hooked up my set-up and verified: "Yep, you got a problem there."
