I used to work at a company that had a prism pole with a concrete nail driver built into it. It would drive a nail in with I believe was a blank 22 cartridge. Do they still make this? I can't seem to find one. Any help would be much appreciated.

RAMSET Makes a concrete nail driver. It was probably some type of retro fit, to a prism pole.

I think there is a European country that produces an adapter that goes on to the bottom of the pole that holds a paint pen.
Though I actually like the Ramset idea, you could use a rod level and take it off before you shoot the nail.

I just use a cordless drill and a pk nail w/brass washer. It's easier. 😎

Hayes Instrument Company got one to try out probably 15 years ago. It worked but we never sold any that I know of.

It always seemed like a needlessly complicated idea to me, but then I've never encountered a situation in which I'd want to drive a nail at every shot location. And I certainly don't want to carry around a Ramset driver on the end of my prism pole for everyday work.

What could possibly go wrong?

It's not Poland is it? My father in law would love that.

I don't remember, it was in some trade show advertisement I had come across some where.

Back in my Party Chief days, I have worked with guys that I was afraid to give a hammer to use. I can't imagine running around with explosives.
