I need to lower the elevations of a point file by 204.19 feet and even though I have done this many times in the past, I can not get my software to do it right.

Enough points to not want to do it by hand.

If anyone would like to do this for me, it would be appreciated.

email is [email protected]

Thanks in advance.

Randy

Randy,

I use Carlson and the 'translate' command under the points option.

I pick one point as the original and then that same point as the destination, but with a new elevation.

Turn on "Process Elevations" and choose ALL for range of points (or insert your range of points)

Hope this helps..

Don

Make a dummy point with the same NE but different Z. Select the points, translate the points holding the actual point to the dummy point.

Process Elevations if in Carlson.

Thanks Everyone, but Terry Watson fixed me up.

I just must have had my head you know where.

Back to work,

Thanks again Terry.
