Not sure this is "Education & Training" so, Thor, feel free to move it if necessary
I would like to create a small-ish (3x5?) card to give out to attorneys, title companies and real estate professionals showing data like arrangement of section-township-range and common aliquot divisions/acreages. maybe some common conversions chains>feet etc
Do you have any samples that you have seen or suggestions for what should be included on the "cheat sheet"
Thanks in advance
Don't these people know how to use google? That seems like the best solution.

Probably. I want a quick reference guide that has our name and contact information on it.

To use Google effectively you have to know what question to ask.
I've had one of these images printed on approx. 3x5 card stock previously to either tape to a monitor or inside a field book. Has some of the info you're looking for but perhaps not all. (image displayed is not the image I speak of. clicking it should pull it up)
Yes, that is part of the info. I also want a township/range image and some common conversions
I have a copy a page from the Oregon Department of Transportation Route Surveying Manual from 1998 (page 21). It shows the township grid, the township breakdown and common sectional breakdown. Sounds like what you are looking for. Unfortunately, I can not find this document on ODOT's site, I think it has been replaced, and my copy is covered in notes.
You can find the same info in the 2009 BLM manual. The township grid is on page 43 and page 12 has the typical township breakdown. I can not the handy sectional breakdown diagram in the manual.
I think I found what I was looking for. I will tweak it a little (sorry ChatGPT)
Give them a small magnifying glass at the same time.
At one time I had a small pocket watch with the cover being a magnifying glass. That was handier than two Swiss Army knives.
One of the hotels in Pecos, Texas (Brandon?) had a card with their info on one side and measurement conversions on the other to hand out to attorneys and land men and attorneys who were frequenting the hotel in oil & gas boom times. I had it at my first job with FXSA and it was very handy to have as a green CAD drafter. I can't find a copy on the internet after an ebay search. Being Texas, it also had conversions into and out of varas.
