Staking the partition line of a 1000 acre boundary. Part of the deal was to put t-posts along the line (5800') every 300'.

It was painful to watch my son and his helper have to carry everything. lol

Love it!
I have done so many surveys by just getting coordinates on the corner monuments and nobody ever seeing where the lines go... I remember a huge water tank with the division line going thru it once. OUCH!

Nice to see the young bucks getting some exercise too 🙂

Right now I am sitting in Harris County, Texas. This particular county is approximately the same size as Connecticut and has about 1 million more people.

There are several counties in this state that are larger that the smallest 5 states.

Come out and visit. I can direct you to where I cut 4400+ acres out of approximately 12,000 acres I surveyed in an old railroad block in the Panhandle.

There are several surveyors in the West who have surveyed parcels much larger.
