Time for a new robot setup. I think I like the Carlson setup with the data collector that has a keyboard. I wonder if it will run my x90 RTK unit too? I already emailed Mark on that question. I also wonder how good customer service will be with my initial setup struggles. Who should I contact?
Thanks for your forthcoming insight fellow leggers.

I've seen Carlson run an X90. It does fine with it. You have to purchase the robotic and GNSS additions to Carlson, of course, but you probably already knew that.
what are you running your X90 with now?
LT30
Hi Brad, I think you are running your X91+ with a LT30. The X90 does not have Bluetooth

Doesn't the LT30 run Carlson SurvCE, or does CHC have their own DC software? I thought you were asking if/how well Carlson SurvCE runs the X90(91?) ... if you are asking about the hardware, I don't know for sure, but I'd assume it would work fine on any hardware.

I was in panic mode yesterday. I thought my trusty ol' gal Leica had broken. She is okay.
So even I am not sure what I was asking.
Yes the LT30 does run SurvCE with my x91+ and does so very well.
I agree, I would expect the Carlson Surveyor2 data collecter would also run my x91+.
Thanks for reaching out. I am better... for now.
Despite the only Carlson product that we have is survce, I am sold on them as a company.
I have a field guy show up at an insane job site today, where we are laying out critical grid lines. All the control is wiped out, except for two points, and the biggest crane I have seen was setup between the two.
As a 2 point resection is the only option, but not really at all desirable, my field guy calls Carlson to ask about options, in 5 minutes they have detailed multi-face resections with the robot, and gave him a plan of attack for the highest available accuracy given the available control.
All the checks look good, and this is absolutely typical of Carlson. Their customer service is positively outstanding.
All my future equipment will be Carlson, despite not having a vender near me.
