Hi guys,
I am searching for buying new survey equipment, and I came to this site:
although I am not goint to buy used equipment, but the price here is too much cheap for such combination!! and it true and not a spam it make me think again!
is it logic this price?
Not legit , all pictures from ebay.
It's almost certainly a scam. I found a very similar website last year, that was also based out of Indonesia, and posted about it. http://beerleg.com/index.php?mode=thread&id=168586
I didn't buy anything from them, and now if you google "chan-surveying.com", the website it gone, and it comes up on a list of scam websites.
I wouldn't trust this new site ...
Yeah my virus software warned me against opening the page, said its known for scams.
Thanks guys,
so i will go back to my dealer 😉
Good Choice 🙂
I don't even trust ebay.
I recently bought a total station from a reputable auction site. While the auction was going on, I was having conversations with the seller. At the same time, there was a listing on ebay by a seller many states away, using the exact picture from the auction I was following.
At the very least, always have the seller give you all of the serial numbers of the equipment before any bids or offers are made. If they balk at giving up the numbers, I run away fast.
Yazeed, ALWAYS deal with a local dealer. That way if something goes wrong you know where to hunt him down and "dicuss" the problem.
Cheap web site sellers are 99.9% thieves. :-@

So....you're saying that they're more honest than your typical salesman....? o.O
