We've had another good day! Larry says we're going home tomorrow, so I guess that is the plan! We're saying our evening prayers and calling it a night!...It seems we have a big day ahead! NEWEST UPDATE - 5/13/15
Pulled from Craig Davenport's Facebook. Larry's brother posted to the Phipps family page:
"Joe called last night with this update on Larry Phipps, he was out of surgery, and off respirator, was groggy, which is to be expected, that they got all of the tumor and will be receiving treatments there and may be able to go home Monday or Tuesday. Later treatments will be scheduled at Duke Hospital, in Durham. Continue to keep this family in your prayers, and thoughts, if and when he is able to receive calls will post that on here. I would ask that you not try to contact him until he is much improved. We thank each of you for your prayers, and thoughts during this difficult time."
Keep fighting and getting better, Larry!! We miss you on here!!

Weird coincidence.
A nearby hospital had a full page ad yesterday bragging on their staff and listing staff members who have been employed there for 5,10,15,20,25 and 30 years. One of those listed shares the name Larry Phipps with our good buddy.

Thank you for all of the updates. I have been off the board for a while and just found this post.
I will keep Larry in my thoughts - and let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do to help. I would have joined the food catering but not sure that is still a need.. I'm behind the ball on this one.
