That is a great video.

I have shared it amongst the surveyors here in Launceston, Tasmania.

That's a fantastic production and the music really works. I just happened to pick up a t-shirt with the 'Keep calm I'm a Land Surveyor' not all that long ago. Didn't know what all I was promoting!

Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get me.

I liked it, catchy music, but I think that one shot was off 0.02'

Excellent! I'm going to send the link to all my non-surveyor friends to let them know what we do.

Job well done. I loved the music.

That was the coolest shot of the whole video in my opinion. It would really give the layperson an idea of what the surveyor does.....going from plan to real world.

He has made quite a few fly fishing videos, you can see them on his youtube channel, the same one were this video clip is located.

I can suggest you watch "Thrift is not for sissies" it has a great soundtrack. It is a dam up in the eastern cape mountains.

Click on his name just below the video in you tube, it will show you the video's he has done.

Thanks for the info about the lime.

The trimble active targets are great for construction site use. On the railway everyone is covered in reflective material - trousers jacket etc; so it is easy for the station to get dragged off when someone walks inbetween the pole and the instrument. They cost that much here at least - £1890 each.
I got one for just over half that from Wesellem on ebay and it is "as new, unused" in box. He still has some, I saw them there recently.
