Kathy and Grant Brady looked me up while in town and we met for a nice lunch and chat before their bike ride through Ding Darling National Preserve here on Sanibel.
Always great to visit with fellow surveyors.

rented a bike in Sanibel about 30 years ago and rode to Ding Darling for the day. Got off the bike and explored some of the palmetto/ mangrove swamp looking for critters. There were a lot of middens around also.
There was a little book store that sold John Gardner books that were all signed since he was a local resident.
caught some nice whiting in the surf for a a delicious treat and hooked a hammerhead while night fishing.
You have a nice place to survey andy. I hope it hasn't changed that much with development time sure does fly
