I'm using a Jett XL, never heard of a key combination for reset. I'm pretty sure there is a pinhole button, kind of like the old HP48.

Hold the power button down for 15-20 seconds.

Thanks guys. I already tried that. I got it to reinitialize, but the keys are still frozen up. I can get as far as loading the SMI program and it freezes. 🙁

You have two options
One is to hold down the power button for ten+ seconds

the second is under start/ Programs/ tools/ wmboot

exact steps may depend on your operating systems the above is for Windows CE

I seem to recall a "three-finger salute" which would perform a factory reset of the Jett XL (requiring software applications and data to be re-installed to the device) but I don't recall the exact keystroke combination. If you want to contact me off-line, perhaps some quick Q&A will jog my memory.

I found it guys. With SMI Classic open, click on file and there it is under SMI Reset. Worked fine. I did have the CF card out at the time, but I don't think that had anything to do with correcting the problem. I found it by accident of course.:-)
