On January 28, 2021, I'll be presenting a Workshop for Javad GNSS discussing RTPK, Real Time Post-processed Kinematic. RTPK is a post-processing application that is embedded in the data collection software of the Triumph-LS/Triumph-LS Plus and Triumph-3 with Javad Mobile Tools.?ÿ
RTPK uses raw data observed at the rover and raw data observed at the base, transmitted in RTCM3, to post-process the rover's position in near real-time. This provides the user with a secondary check on RTK results in difficult environments, allows the user to post-process positions while in the field when communications are unavailable due to range, and in some cases provides a solution when traditional RTK is unable due to differing methodologies in positioning.?ÿ
Recently I performed a Long Range Test on RTPK with phenomenal results. Reliable, repeatable results on a baseline of 32 miles (50km) with as little as 30 seconds of observation. I'll share more in another thread.?ÿ
RTPK is another unprecedented feature, in a long list of many features, developed by Javad GNSS.?ÿ

I have registered, and am looking forward to your presentation.
Shawn you have come a long ways since the days of experimenting with the Pro Mark 2s. I really enjoyed all of the chatter about pushing the limits on that platform, there were so many peopled involved trying to find and exploit the potential of that friendly affordable unit.
I don't suppose that "post" gets much use these days.
Thanks for all of your efforts in championing the use of GPS/GNSS.
Stay well
T.W.?ÿ

@tom-wilson Thank you, Tom. The rules keep changing... for the better. It behooves us all to stay current on the new rules for working with GNSS so that we can fully exploit the capabilities we have to improve our measurements and our profitability.
It's crazy to think those days with the ProMark2's were 20 years ago! I guess that happens. LOL
The Workshop is today!
I've already presented to a European audience this morning and looking forward to sharing with surveyors here in the US. Of course it is open to all from anywhere today at 12pm CST.?ÿ

This RTPK technology is producing incredible results. Take a look with me, you won't be disappointed.
I'll be back at the survey where my base is 20' up on a silo. There is no signal for cell phone at this site.
Will this seminar be recorded, so we can watch later?
Is it live, like zoom?
What is the format?
Thx.
Nate
It's a GoToWebinar. It is being recorded and video will be posted.
Please update us when the recording can be watched online.
Reference to Javad's website reminds me of this document, which I consider the single best description of how GPS makes measurements and it's sources of error.?ÿ?ÿ
That document helped me back in the day.?ÿ Might be confusing for younger guys because analogies are out of date.?ÿ Like it uses polaroid picture in an analogy about RTK.?ÿ I don't think my 20 year old knows about polaroids :).?ÿ Javad was brilliant but could also present to the less brilliant.?ÿ True teacher.?ÿ Jp
