Surf's up! I'd guess that all those guys will be back on the beach in about 15 seconds.

One time, about 35 years ago when I had a high schooler for a helper, we used a boat to get to a single monument.  The client had put the overgrown canoe in the water and tied it to a tree with another rope in the far end.  My helper untied the rope and shoved off.  The boat went about ten feet and hit the opposite bank.  He quickly tied off to a tree, went about 100 feet to the monument, gave the shot to me, then reversed the process.  This was a deep hole in a small creek.  To drive around, walk in, take one shot, walk out and drive back would have taken far more than one hour.
