Part of my must-have, field expendable items. They come in pretty handy, and hey,….if you forget you lunch…………… 😜
I keep a box of Milk Bone behind the driver's seat. They've come in handy on occasion.

Not to mention they keep your pearly whites gleaming!
Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get me.
Not so much anymore. I used to keep them for my dogs, as well as others. The dogs are getting up there in age for dogs their size and are having a hard time getting it the trucks, so the supply of treats has dwindled.
Funny note, I get my dogs this brand of biscuit that are made with human grade oats, bran, molasses and peanut butter. My wife things I'm weird, but I think they taste great and my canines have never look cleaner.
My daughter has more dog treats stuffed in every nook and cranny on my truck. She is always training and working the dog when out on the farm. I have seen her get that dog up on a round hay bales with a row of 100 bales as she works him from the other end stopping and sitting etc. had some in a stack 4 high she got that dog to climb all the way up. Dogs I run into while surveying I try not to feed them. I don’t want anymore coming home with me. We already get strays. The ladies will feed water and care for any one of them also. lol.

I'm not worried about them coming home with me, I just don't want them to bite me.

Precisely why I don't carry any dog treats, you have no idea if the dog has food aggression or not. Generally I tend to ignore the domestic animals while I am out, I'm polite to the owners but give little attention to the pet. This is coming from someone who has dogs, cats and a variety of livestock and love every single one of them.
Once a dog knows you have treats it's harder to get rid of them and get back to work, nor do I want the association on return visits.
