Can anyone in MA tell where to find deeds and old surveys?

I'm looking for back in 1630s to 1800.

Deeds and plans are recorded in the Registry of Deeds for each county in Massachusetts. You can start here, (www)masslandrecords(com). Depending on what records you are looking for they could be in a number of places, MA State Archives, County Commissioners Offices, Town Clerks or if not recorded they could be in a private surveyor's office. Given the years you are interested in MA DOT and MA Land Court were not around but could have records as part of projects or registration cases respectively.
Hard to know without more specific information, where and what type of records.

If you are looking in Barnstable County, then good luck. We had a little fire back in 1827 or so... I have some proprietors records on my server (or Town Clerk will likely have the rest) but getting from point A to point C may prove impossible. (Point B is Point Burned)

Sorry for the delay; trying to beat cold weather here.

It's Woburn in Middlesex County.

www.masslandrecords.com only has deeds scanned for internet access back to the 1950's or so.

https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/list This web page has links to microfilm images that the Mormons made of the early deed books and indices. It's a bit slow, but it's better than driving into Cambridge to hoist the books off the shelves in person.

You might also contact the Woburn Historical Society, and the Massachusetts Geneological Society.

Also, Woburn Public Library has historical archives containing "early Woburn town documents to church records, family papers and postcards." You should check out their website. http://woburnpubliclibrary.org/archives/digital-collections/

And some old maps located here: http://www.woburnmaps.com/history/index.htm
