When scrolling in and out, layers are disappearing and reappearing. Occasionally they do not reappear and we have to regen to get them back. Have tried all the online suggestions, installed a new jam up video card...Still no fix....Anyone else have this problem and or found a fix for it???

I'm not sure about Carlson 2014 Intellicad, but in older versions of Acad, if I remember correctly, you set regenauto to (ON), or regenmode to (1), but it was only saved in the current drawing. You would have to save in your prototype drawing to maintain, that setting, in any 'new' drawing.

You might experiment with either (or both) of the following variables:

>ZOOMDETAIL
>Controls the level of detail that displays when using dynamic zoom, pan, or rotation. Entities that would display with a number of pixels less than or equal to the ZOOMDETAIL value are not visible. For example, when enabled, complicated blocks or text that would display as just a few pixels while zooming out are not displayed, greatly improving performance.
>
>Lower values display more entities; higher values display fewer entities.
>Range: 0 (Off) to 100

and/or:

>DRAGDETAIL
>Controls the level of detail that displays during dragging for commands such as Copy, Move, Mirror, etc. Entities that would display with a number of pixels less than or equal to the DRAGDETAIL value are not visible during dragging. For example, when enabled, complicated blocks or text that would display as just a few pixels during dragging are not displayed, greatly improving performance.

You may find your answer here..

The Little CAD Engine That Could BLOG

You might try clicking on the patch link (second link down on the right side).
At the risk of breaking something else.

I remember there being graphics issues when I trial tested Intellicad last year. Your barking up the wrong tree if you think the problem is with your hardware.

There are some "features" that you can disable that will solve problems with remnant graphics and re-fresh problems. Call Carlson and they will try and solve it for you.
