I am looking for some ideas or recommendations concerning some inexpensive signs or placards of sort that can be nailed to trees in close proximity to the corner in lieu of blazing scaring the tree. I know Bernsten sells some form of plastic placards the smallest of which is 4"x6" but those are a costly. The cheapest is $4 but you have to buy $500 or more.
I'm looking for something maybe 4"x4" at the largest or better yet something round maybe 4" in diameter & metal. A corrosion resistant metal of course.?ÿ
I thought about aluminum flashing but that is far to soft and would not hold up.
I suppose I could find a?ÿ large stamp set and do my own stamping but I have never even looked for large stamp sets.
I have looked at Bathey.com and all the make are 1-1/4" washers.
So....what say you, do you have any ideas or recommendations?
In my mind something similar to a gammon reel string target would be great but not cheap flimsy plastic.

These sold by NDSPLS are great, but I dont know who made them. I've emailed the president of the society and received no response. I'd like to have my own made with our logo, or have our society do the same.
Not sure if these are the same as what Bernsten is selling (same size).?ÿ They are $175 for 100:

I get these only a custom version for about twice the cost:?ÿ http://www.vosssigns.com/product/202pblya/
I thought these also said "Boundary Marker" on them but I see this version does not, hmmm.

Try National Band and Tag; they will highly customize a metal tag if a 3"x5" will do. All colors, metal type, stamp or etch.?ÿ
Now this looks very interesting, thank you.
Here is the link, Https://nationalband.co m" target="true" rel="noopener">nationalband.com
They even have a section for us lowly surveyors. Heck there are several types of types for different industries that may work for what I'm look for.
Question for you fellas; If you where gonna use a round disk to nail into a tree as a reference to a nearby corner what sizediameter would you use?
I think I broke the link.
