The image is if a card that is now found on the back of the plats for those found in Eastern States General Land Office records which is the custodian of the historical GLO survey and selected land office records on behalf of the Secretary of the Interior.

These may have been in a card catalog at one point. But are now glued to the back of the plats.

They document correspondence and decision documents referenced to that township. Very often ripiarian findings such as omitted lands determinations and so forth.

The files they reference may be in the office, but usually have to be obtained from National Archives (NARA)
