App for HP 41CX ?

I use: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=o2s.emul.hp41cx

Edit: WOW I just discovered that there's also a tablet edition!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=o2s.emul.hp41cxt

As it turns out, the developer has several apps for various HP calculator models.

Hello, Jim --

The tool names are NGSCS-m, PLSS-m, etc. Tap a tool name (link) in an Android or iDevice browser and choose to open the file in Google Earth.

ESMobile is not really a tool. It's the whole collection of tools below.

No. I've had my tablet a year and a half now. I found these tools not long after I got it.

I've been using the desktop versions of these tools for years.

Got it. I thought that ESMobile was just one of the tools.

Thanks!

App for HP 41CX ?

Not sure what a BB is...

The i41CX has an optional printer "emulator" that produces a display exactly like the original printer. It does not actually print on paper...

App for HP 41CX ?

Wendell,

I bought and downloaded the go41cx program onto my android phone, but haven't figured out how to open or plugin the Survey.Mod. Can you give me some guidance? Also, I've found some skins for that module, do you know how to apply them? Thanks Wendell for any assistance you can provide.

TC

There are 2 main paths to app making.google
(c+) and non google.the google route brings with it google maps.google maps is quite a boost to making this kind of app.i dont know of it but i would wager this exists.i have toyed with the idea if making something akin to the old Searcher Dos app to work in google maps.the other path is java.the bad news if you are not already a programer or wish to be one you might do better seeking than writeing
on the other hand it might be fun.
my approch is to obtain the HP 48G Series Avanced Users Reference Manual and write the realatively easy code on the droid48'
anything that ever ran on a 48 can run on it due to the fact the use the actual factory ROMs
the catch point is the emulation believes it is real.therefore it fails on the comms.no Ir no rs232 port.so no native way to back up programs.there is an app called Droid48 reader that lets you handle hp48 files so as to back up off device and share.you need Android 2.2 to use it.BUT WITH THIS YOU CAN LOAD ON YOUR EMULATOR AND RUN ANYTHING WRITTEN FOR A REAL 48.The posibilties are staggering.with the processer speed of a.smartphone or tablet the 48 comes alive the graphics useable not novelties.I urge you to type in manualy 'teach' to install examples directory and run the graphic examples.the difference in speed is noteable.
