I'm trying to scale the set of drawings from architect (1/12) but some of the text remains original size after remaining objects are scaled. Any hints?

Are they using a text style with a fixed text height?

Don't have any hints for you but I do have a suggestion. If you are going to layout a building or house etc. be sure and check that the dimensions on the plan add up correctly. In my dealings with artichokes I would estimate that 90% of their plans do not add up correctly. Some of 'em get real snooty(pissed) when someone as low on the totem pole as a "blue collar" grunt low life surveyor points out a blatantly obvious error. I love it when I find a mistake and have to call them. It's so much fun listening to them try and weasel out of a silly mistake. They always blame it on the cad tech. ???? ?ÿ

This is why I never try to bring house plans into my drawings, to many screw ups by the architect. I refuse to even scale anything off of plans, give me dimensions or do it yourself.

Xref the drawing you want to scale into your target drawing. Before you do so set the INSUNITS of your target drawing to the units you are working in and set the INSUNITS in the drawing to be scaled to what they are. When you Xref in everything will be scaled and on the same grid. BIND if necessary afterwards.
