Hi,?ÿ

I have been experiencing a tab size error in "intellicrud" for quite some time now.?ÿ I'll create a plot tab size ArchD to plot maps.?ÿ Every time I go to plot the map onto mylar film, the display window changes to some weird size, leaving my boarder completely off of the dark display area.?ÿ Sometimes the map and boarder (my line work) shoots completely into the gray area.?ÿ Several attempts to use the modify command fail.?ÿ I'll even change to a printer, then reset to the plotted and Arch D. Still nothing.?ÿ ?ÿ The only Fix I know, is to create a new tab and copy clip the boarder and information into that tab. Then recreate the mviews scale them and reposition them accordingly.?ÿ ?ÿ This is crazy. What might I be doing wrong ??ÿ

Thank you very much?ÿ?ÿ

Initial diagnostics I'd typically run would include:

  • Check for updated video card drivers.
  • Check for updated printer/plotter drivers.
  • AUDIT (found under Carlson File menu -- Drawing Utilities) to see if there is any corruption being reported with the DWG (or DWT).

Depending on what AUDIT finds, I sometimes explore the SAVE AS --> R12 DWG option to blow away things like ARX Objects, Annotative Text, etc, to get back to a "simple" DWG structure and then save it back up to the more modern and compressed formats of today to see if that helps get things back on track.

I hope this information helps.
