?ÿ

I have 2 older radio modems Satel 2ASxE with 2 different Firmware Versions v0.49 and v0.68. I like to upgrade both radios to the same Version.

Maybe anybody has some firmware files for these Radios?

The upgrade software "Saterm4" says that flash file .sff or .sf2 is necessary.

".sff (SaTerm Flash File)
Includes the radio modem software held in an encrypted format for the modems with software versions 0.xx...2.xx.

.sf2 (SaTerm Flash file2)
New software format for the radio modems labeled with the "E2" marking (Software versions 3.xx). "

I have tried to contact different Satel service in different regions last week. The only/best answer i got was:

"Unfortunately, the firmware update requires a change of component in the logic board of the radio, therefore the firmware update task for this device type can not be performed in the field. The device has to be sent to SATEL service for further actions. A device of this age might require also some fine-tuning of the tuning values, which should be also checked at the same time."

Seems like not just easy loading firmware...
