We are running survpc and when you store a staked point a dialogue pops up to store the point including two boxes labeled Voff and Elevation that are blank. So when a invert elevation is added at this point a cut/fill to the invert is added to the output screen and my guys can write down the cut/fill to invert (yes, they can do this manually). Is there a way to manipulate the office created stake point to populate the two fields...In essence assigning three different elevations to one point.

I do all my stakeout set up in SurvCad.?ÿ I typically stake the center of structure, a 10' offset with a point number for each invert and a 20' offset with the top of curb, grate or rim elevations.?ÿ The way I do it and prepare my cut sheets in Excel works good for me.

Thanks Chris and Lee......I was thinking it might be something buried in the pipe network setting and assigning attributes and notes. I may look into that more as my thinking is the inverts get put into notes and the DC then recognizes them as entry data. We currently use a locked spreadsheet that the crew can just plug in their elevation and all the different data populates, but would be nice to have this feature populate the different grade elevations for the crews on the final store data screen.

Thanks Ladd.....I actually spoke with Carlson support yesterday and they said what I was proposing couldn't currently be done. That said, they were intrigued very much by the idea. The idea behind the boxes was to be able to enter the subgrade offset (manually) so that the crew had both sets of data, but the Carlson rep saw the benefit of even that being automated using point notes/attributes to populate the values in the box's.
