I am trying to import a .survey file from the data collector into Survey Office (v2.93 free version) and then export the points in a .txt format. That seems simple enough, but all I can get out is point number,N,E,Z. I cannot get the description to export. I've tried several export formats with no luck: txt, csv, dc, and xml. What am I missing?

You need to use a custom import format. None of the predefined formats support the description field.

Adam,

Have you figured out how to export NEZD yet?

File > Export > Export File Editor

Select New

Name the export format (P,N,E,Z,D) > Next

Select the Delimiter that you wish to use.

Double-click on each field (General tab) that you wish to add:
Point ID
Northing
Easting
Elevation
Description 1

Finish

I hope that this makes sense and it helps. I sent this as a PM too. I wanted to make sure that you got it.
