Has anybody had any luck connecting to a Topcon GB-500 using PC-CDU on Windows 8?
The Driver seems to not be compatible.

You might try running the program as an administrator. However, I only had spotty success running PC-CDU post Vista. Topcon Receiver Utility will do everything that PC-CDU would do and is friendly with newer (64 bit) operating systems.

Same for me, could not get PCCDU to run on Win 7, went to TRU and is working fine. When downloading file, you have to right click to get the menu. And when doing multi files, or different receivers in the same session, you don't have to open and specify the download location each time, it will go into that previous folder - took me awhile to figure that out.
