The ability to import from a file is what I miss and am now happy to have back. The movie option is interesting.

From what I hear, slightly better images, and you can do things like import a list of addresses ... Which is something I do to keep track of jobs visually. Every 4 months I import my address list into GE from my business database.

The thing I like about the Pro version is that it includes the GIS parcel lines which are great for planning. You can still see the lines when you switch to street view as well which is pretty neat.
most of New Jersey has digital parcel lines but not all of it. And of course we are talking about GIS accuracy lines which at times look great and others are way off.
Reminds me of that video that I believe someone posted on here where a woman in a Township agency was telling people to save their money and just look at their property lines on Google Earth instead of having a survey done.

As I said, an interesting feature. There might be ways to steady it, but, I did the reverse and sped it up.

I have already used the area function while conversing with a client that wanted an opinion about the amount of land in a particular portion of his ranch that he was interested in trading with a neighbor.

I did not tell him what the acreage was, instead, I told him that we could probably make something work out with the numbers he was wanting to start negotiations with.

B-)

What is necessary to import or link parcel lines? Is this a built-in feature?

It is a built in feature. In the layers there is a label of "Earth Pro (US)", if you expand that there is a label for "US Parcel Data".
Once that is checked it displays parcel information and where available the parcel lines

Hey, that's great! Except the parcel lines at my house are offset about 10-12 feet East. 🙁

I have the parcel lines showing. Is there a way to get information about the parcel like line length, ownership data, etc.
