In the TopSurv manual, it briefly touches on the icon in the Backsight setup screen, that brings up the "Multi-point BS" screen. While the manual states that "Multiple Back sight points can generate more precise measurements", that certainly makes sense, but I can't quite figure out how this works...i.e. the order in which the measurements would be taken...BS1-BS2-FS, or BS1-FS, BS2-FS, etc.
I thought I saw a similar routine in SurvCE but can't find it now.
Has anyone who has used this feature of the software provide some insight as to what it's doing?
