Have had the problem of disappearing cursor since autocad 2011 in two different computers, is getting worse and is real pain. Even going into model space.
Known issue with autocad since 2011 but no answer yet.
Anyone been able to fix this?

Same Color and background?
Graphics driver? Graphics card?
Services packs installed?
Proper Computer setup for program?, IE operating system, Ram amount, Speed, Video Card size. 64bit etc.
Can be more descriptive of exactly what is happening, when, what your doing when it happens, Is it momentary or permanent. Does it fix itself after anything, IE regen all, restart program, restart machine.
Many variables.
The only times I've had the cursor to disappear was due to memory issue or wrong mouse driver.
Certain updates will cause drivers to be replaced.
Apparently there is some unwritten clause that techies insist that certain setups be used for their software. They apparently do not understand that some people use different hardware than they do.
Going to a Bluetooth mouse solved that problem on my laptop. The issue may repeat in the future.
I have to keep a constant watch on my desktops for the same issue. A reinstall usually fixes that.
Have had this happen with different desktop, laptops and when I look at Autodesk discussions it seems like it can happen randomly. Autodesk hasn’t been able to repeat consistently, it’s just happening to many people. I thought it might be a specific problem that had been figured out. To fix the problem all you have to do is close the drawing and reopen and you will get another 5 – 10 minutes of work before you disappear again. When it gets worse close drawing, and program, restart computer. All is better for 20- 30 minutes of work. Have tried a few drivers and color changes but no fixes.
Maybe next computer and version of cad will work properly.
Move curser over to the far left hand side. Then go up to the far left hand corner of the paper space window view port move curser over the veiw port veiw text. It will then reappear. Bug..
