Another LS I work with as needed has Acad Map 2000 and I use Carlson Survey 2013/Intellicad version. He can not do anything with the deed plots I send him. I've tried saving as Acad 2000, Acad release 14, and plain intellicad, (Bricsys), as both dwg and dxf and he can still can not work with them. Any help would be appreciated.:-S

It might be possible that the drawing is becoming damaged during electronic transmit (e.g. Email). You might try zipping the file before sending it.

At your client's end, he might start a new AutoCAD Map session and insert your drawing as a block via the INSERT command (and explode the block upon its insertion).

Otherwise, issuing the File -- Save As command with IntelliCAD should permit you to save to the R12 DWG format as shown below:

Be aware that this DWG version doesn't support things like MTEXT or "proxy" ARX objects but the resulting DWG file should be open-able by AutoCAD Map.

Ladd,

Many thanks for your reply! We'll give it a try. You folks at Carlson sincerely care about your customers and that is the reason this old surveyor has been with Carlson since Bruce started it all with the DOS Surveyor1 back in the early 1980's.:-)
