Is there a way to reduce the number of interpolated points along a curve for the surface??ÿ Some of my curves have a tin line every 0.2'.
I don't know if it matters, just seems like there doesn't need to be as many as there are.?ÿ I remember there being somewhere in LDD where you could set this, mid-ordinate distance, or something like that.?ÿ Just don't know if Carlson has the option.?ÿ
No simple way that I know of. I sometimes use edit->polyline utilities->densify/ remove polyline vertices. Other than that- surface manager.
I'm sure there are better ways.
pretty sure edit>polyline utilities>smooth polylines is what you're after.
i don't sweat the 3D curves/splines getting diced up like that.?ÿ guess it eats some memory, and i don't personally ever do much with a file after i get a shot surface all cleaned up, but i think that's the route you'd go to eliminate what you're talking about.
In addition to what @flyin-solo suggested, see my reply in the CARLSON surface and curves thread.
I hope this information helps.
That's probably it. It definitely changed. Funny thing is I can't get it to go back after I re-set to what it was before.
Thanks
